speaker problem,
after a couple of decades, the speaker are rotten, and you want to update the speaker.

1. you need an adapter for normal speakers,

in some countries, where you can`t get the adapter, you can cut it out of the wood.

2. the right speakers,
without changing the booster,
you have to get speakers with 2 Ohm,
cause if you get 4 Ohm speakers, you get only 50% of the power.
(there are a few special speakers with 4 Ohm, with certain db values,
but lets keep it simple)

so, if you take
JBL Auto GX602

Nominal Impedance 2.3 Ohm

you got a basic update,
if you want to spend more money, and do a real upgrade,
you got the choice,
but you should look for 2,3 Ohm.

or you go the other direction, and change the booster and go for 4 Ohm.

may be, someone started to lift the engine, to replace the engine mounts,

and
didn t unscrew the two No. 7 screws of the transmission lines,

so, never give your car to a service team, where you cant trust them.
