HERE WE GO
The Speedbabes.net Forums are intended to be an enjoyable place to discuss showgirls, cars, bikes, trucks, and in the case of "The Drive-In," various current events and happenings. To make sure that everyone has a good time, we ask that everyone abide by the following rules:
A) General Guidelines
1. Absolutely no adult content. As a general rule, if it's just erotic, it`s ok, but no content, that require the 18 year check up, if you are not shure, don't post it.
2. Avoid blanket import/domestic/brand bashing.
3. Avoid personal attacks. Criticizing someone’s opinion/tastes/judgement is fine, going after them because of a personal trait is not. This includes racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, etc. This is a Showgirl and car forum, there will be arguments, but keep it civil.
4. No postcount elitism. The opinion of a poster isn't worth less just because they are new and have only 30-some posts, nor does it count more if they have several hundred posts.
5. User names should be shorter than 30 characters. Long names break the template.
6. No links to other automotive sites in signatures other than to other Source Interlink properties.
7. Quoting other posters in your signature is fine unless it is intended to be derogatory and/or a mockery of said poster.
8. Try to stay on topic.
9. Low/No-Content Posting And Threadbombing – Please try to keep this to a minimum.
10. No dodging the language filter. This includes adding extra characters and symbols to circumvent the filter.
B) Article and Image Posting
1. When posting an article, post only the intro paragraph and then a link to the original article. It takes up less space and helps to avoid potential copyright problems.
2. Host all images on either your personal hosting or a free image host such as uploadhouse, imageshack or photobucket. Some sites will swap out images being linked to from other sources, sometimes to highly offensive material, to discourage image leeching.
3. Do not post watermarked images from other sites (excluding other Source Interlink properties). There are copyright issues with that.
C) Violations
Violations will typically result in a warning from a Moderator or Administrator either in the thread or via Private Message, depending on the severity. Failure to comply will likely result in a 24-hour ban. Repeated rule violations will lead to a 7-day ban, which will further escalate into a permanent ban if deemed necessary. Moderators and Administrators reserve the right to skip to a higher stage for egregious violations.
