Alexis Ren first started modeling at the age of 13 for Brandy Melville. She was discovered in their store. After a while of freelancing she signed with Nous Model Management at age 14, shortly after she book an ad for seventeen magazine. Ren became internet famous on Tumblr after her photo shoot with Lucas Passmore at nearly 16 years old. In April 2013 she appeared in C-heads magazine. She also appeared twice in Nextdoormodel magazine in 2013 and 2014. In the Summer of 2014 she appeared in the swim campaign for Hurley and in July 2014 appeared in the Penta Water Campaign. In August 2014 she walked her first runway for Sahara Ray Swim in Los Angeles.[3]

She worked as a model for brands like Calvin Klein, Forever 21, Puma, and more.[4]
