but if an animal caused a defect at the cables,
http://jeep-manual.ru/index.php?page=92you need new cables from your horn to the relais
==========================================================================
Repair without a multimeter
if your horn isn`t working,
first, check the sound of the relais,
if you don`t hear it, check the 20A breaker and replace it.
If you hear the relais, and one of your 2 horns only one time, after the 20A breaker is broken again,
just change the horn relais with a same relais type in the relaisbox under the dashboard.
If you have exactly the same effect, and another broken 20 A relais (for this method, you can also consume your lower breaker in your sparepart collection,
you know, that its not the relais,
and you know, that it is a defct horn, that cause the shortcut,
or a broken, or better, a blank +cable (animal bite), with - contact.
So, next step, unplug the cabel from one of your horns, and test again,
again a broken breaker, and no signal,
plug in the cabel again, and unplugg the other horn.
If you get a hornsignal, you know, you have no cable problem, its only the problem, that one of your horns had a broken isolation of the +pole inside, and caused the shortcut.
Replace the horns,
(but don`t use the relais in the package of the new horns,
you don`t need it, cause you plugg the horns into the old cables,
and these are already connected with your jeep relais in your dashboard.)
Aftermarket horns came with a different connection, or with only one + pole connection.
If you want, that your horn will also work, when the screw, that connects your horn with your car,
starts with corrosion, and is stopping the - pole function,
you should also connect a -cable with the black minus cable of your jeep.
The better way, you fight against corrosion effects, the longer, you will have the technical function of your system.
Think also about the protection against the bite of a marten in your main cables,
or about the problem, that the cable in a door, that is opend 444 times with 15 wintertimes,
will start to break, and is waiting for replacement, (the malfunction of the system is only the side effect).
